Nattiq Technologies announced the completion of a project to deliver the latest technology for blind students at King Saud University in Riyadh, KSA. 95 Male and female students received the Braille Sense Plus, an all-in-one solution, with Braille and speech application capabilities which enable students to stay up with their studies in the university.
Our friends at Foresight, a branch of Tamkeen, in Dubai recently launched their first edition of the newsletter Outlook. The newsletter is available in both Arabic and English in print and audio format. Nattiq will include an audio CD of the newsletter in all mail correspondence as well as shipments of products to our customers and friends.
Aowk Albasari Association of Buraidah, Saudi Arabia will host an event of distributing 74 Hal screen readers with lap tops to blind Saudi youths. The equipment and software is donated by Aljazeera Bank. The event will be held at the King Abdulla's Sports City in Buraidah on Tuesday December 23rd at 8:00 P.M.

Nattiq Technologies revealed today that it signed a contract with the Visual Impairment Association of Buraidah in Saudi Arabia to supply 108 blind Saudi citizens with Hal screen reader software. Hal enables blind users to access computers independently without any help from sighted individuals.
Sharjah, UAE, 11 May 2008: Nattiq Technologies announced today the winning of a contract in Kuwait to supply Hal screen readers, HP lap tops, HP scanners, Arabic OCR and Microsoft bundled software. The equipment and programs are to be distributed among 152 blind students and teachers of the Ministry of Education. The contract was secured by Nattiq’s dealer in Kuwait Gezlan Group.
Scripting for Hal and Supernova is scheduled on March 12th at CSUN 2008. Interested show-goers will have the opportunity to see a technical demonstration on creating Hal / Supernova scripts.
Nattiq Technologies hopes to hold end-user training sessions on creating Hal's scripts later in the year in various locations in the Middle East.
The Red Crescent of the UAE offered Nokia mobile phones equipped with Talks software to 90 blind users in the UAE with coordination with the Emirates Society for the Rehabilitation of the Blind. The 90 beneficiaries are members of ESRB. They were surprised with the valuable gifts which was delivered to them by His Highness Sheikh Sager AlQasimi.
