Hal is Better
Some of our friends and champions make an argument that Hal is the best localized screen reader in an effort to convince other interested individuals and organizations who are evaluating screen readers. I thought I do this podcast to help them explain why Hal is the best.
Hal indeed is a much better, localized into Arabic, screen reader for many reasons some of which I take the pleasure to state hereunder:
01. Available in Flash disk in Arabic (Hal Pen). No need to install Hal, just plug it into any available USB port and hear Hal speak immediately. It also supports Braille displays directly from the Pen.
02. The CD version of Hal may run with one dongle only and not 2 which frees PC resources.
02. Map files "scripts" for hundreds of Arabic CDs and titles.
03. The only Arabic screen reader with access to ICDL contents and tests.
04. Solid, professional and deeply rooted Arabic localization and not and Arabic ad-hoc localization.
05. Hal supported with a professional engineering team as well as a large number of Nattiq Champions scattered all over our region.
06. Hal was adapted to access strategic, to business, software which is considered to be a main infrastructure in businesses such as Oracle and SISCO. The adaptation was done in order to support new blind employees at high-profile organizations such as Emirates Airlines and Dubai Immigration Department.
07. Hal and other Nattiq's products are supported by a professional portal, www.nattiq.com, with a technical support section, Arabic, having valuable resources such as fixes, answers to common questions and map files "scripts" to run a host of encyclopedias and Arabic titles.
08. Regular online free updates.
09. If Hal doesn't read an encyclopedia, a user may send it to Nattiq and it will create a map file "script" free of charge and distribute it to all Hal users.
10. Nattiq's portal shares the knowledge about Hal with all audiences. We get ideas and observations from our friends throughout the Middle East and we implement them into Hal. This is why Hal is very popular and is expected to continue its momentum in accommodating the needs of blind people in the M.E.
11. Hal outsells any other screen reader in the Middle East. This means that resources for R&D will continue to be secured for its superior performance.
12. The future is in Hal. Be a part of a winning future and get Hal.
The above are some of the reasons as to why Hal had become the Number One Arabic screen reader in the Middle East. Many other reasons also exist. Ask our customers.
