فيما يتعلق ببرمجيات قارئ الشاشة العربي يوجد خياران:

ملفات خرائط ودعم للموسوعات: الهال الآن أما الآخرون فبعد شهرين.
ما هي ملفات الخارطة لبرنامج الهال؟
وما هي أهميتها؟ وكيف أكسبت الهال أفضلية إضافية على أفضليته المعهودة؟
ولماذا يحاول البعض طمس هذه الظاهرة وعدم التحدث عنها وإبرازها كظاهرة فاعلة تصب في مصلحة الكفيف؟
وما هي فائدتها؟
بدأت فعاليات التدريب على برنامج الهال والتي تنظمه جمعية العوق البصري ببريدة في المملكة العربية السعودية حيث تستمر هذه الفعاليات لمدة شهر ويشارك فيها 27 كفيف و 8 كفيفات.
لا أدري ما إذا كان هذا خبرا سارا أم دون ذلك ولكن نعتقد بأنه يتوجب علينا أن نسوقه إليكم كمستجد من المستجدات لعمل شاق بدأناه في الناطق قبل فترة ليست بالقصيرة بل استغرق ما يفوق العام حيث إنتهى فريقا التطوير في شركتي الناطق و
عادة ما تصلنا الملاحظات عندما تسير الأمور في مسار التحديات التقنية. اما الأعمال والإنجازات الجيدة فإنها تمر دون أي رأي مكتوب.
لاحظنا تغير في هذه الظاهرة وهناك بدايات للتعبير خطيا عن بعض الأمور الجيدة.
في ليلة الخميس 26 يونيو الميلادي 2008 إستتضفنا لقاء شبكي بواسطة سكايب حيث أرسلنا رسالة إلى أصدقائنا المسجلين معنا على موقع الناطق بهذا الخصوص إلا أنني تفاجأت بأن الخادم الخاص بنا لم يرسلها.
يسر الناطق للتكنولوجيا أن تعلن عن تنظيمها للقاء جامع على شبكة الإنترانت بإستخدام خدمات السكايب وذلك للقاء سائر الأصدقاء المهتمين من أجل مناقشة آخر التطورات المتعلقة ببرنامج هال والإصدار التاسع وقلم الهال.
