تم إستحداث قائمة بريدية لأصدقاء جهاز البرايل سينس بلس وسائر المهتمين من أجل تيسير خدمتهم بشكل أسرع وأكفأ. ونهيب بسائر الأصدقاء ممن يقتنون الجهاز بالتسجيل في هذه القائمة حتى تتيسر لنا خدمتهم وتوصيل كل المستجدات لهم والتواصل معهم فيما يهمهم من باب مشاركة بعضنا لتجارب الآخرين بالإضفافة إلى توصيل المستجدات والتحديثات والتطويرات الطارئة على الجهاز.
مقابلة مع المهندس علي عبدالرحيم وإستعراض صوتي لطريقة تحديث جهاز البرايل سينس بلس ونقاش التطويرات التي تمت على الجهاز في نشرة البودكاست الصوتية المرافقة.
تشارك الناطق للتكنولوجيا في مهرجان الطفل القرائي والذي يبدأ اليوم الموافق 14 فبراير 2010 ويستمر إلى يوم 21 فبراير الجاري. وتقدم شركة الناطق ورشتي عمل على وسائل إنشاء وتشغيل الكتب الناطقة بطريقة الديزي بالإضافة إلى ورشة عمل عن إنشاء الرسومات البارزة بتقنيات شركة فيوبلس الأمريكية.
من المتوقع أن تطلق شركة نيوانس المطورة لبرنامج التولكس خدمة جديدة إختيارية وبرسوم إضافية. ويستطيع المستخدم إلتقاط صور لوثائق بالإنجليزية وإرسالها إلى خادم حيث يقوم بدوره بالتعرف على الوثيقة ضوئيا وإرسالها ثانية إلى المستخدم في غضون ثوان قليلة. المزيد في نشرة البودكاست المرافقة.
جهاز إنتل ريدر
أطلقت شركة إنتل العالمية والمشهورة بتطوير معالجات الحواسيب القياسية وأجزاء أخرى للحواسيب جهاز أطلقت عليه إسم قارئ إنتل أو إنتل ريدر. الجهاز موجه نحو المكفوفين والمبصرين جزئيا وفئة ذوي صعوبات النطق. الجهاز متوفر باللغة الإنجليزية وسوف يتوفر بلغات غربية أخرى.
