Nattiq Shows Hal Pen in Kuwait

Members of Kuwiat's Association for the Blind were pleasantly surprised when they attended a demonstration conducted by Nattiq Technologies. Hal Pen was received warmly causing members who attended the demonstration to call their colleagues who didn't to explain to them what they witnessed.

Mr. Saieed Alfakharani, the Association Computer Lab Engineer, took the Hal Pen and plugged it in several PCs that were scattered in the Association and watched along other members with amazement how such PCs started talking almost instantly.

Arabic Hal Pen is not officially released as of yet, but is expected to be released before the end of 2007. Excitement is building up throughout the region and many blind people continue to wait impatiently to obtain the amazing Pen.

Hal Pen is a USB flash disk which contains Arabic Hal screen reader. Plugging the USB flash disk to any available USB port on a lap top or a PC will automatically load Hal and almost instantly without having to perform any installation or preparation. This technology will help blind users in the Arab World to gain increased privacy and independence in accessing standard PC found every where.
