Blind Users in The Middle East Know The Difference
Being on the road lately, I became aware of a very important observation. The level of awareness, at the minds of blind users, has improved noticeably as to what is important in dealing with adaptive technology companies in the Middle East. Up until 5 years ago, people didn't understand the concept of customer service in this part of the world as it was completely absent. The only factor contributing to purchasing adaptive technology equipment was a "lower price". As for credibility, people had to cope with its absence too so they continued to deal with companies and individuals who lacked credibility, but they were the only available options at the time.
When Nattiq made an entry into the adaptive technology field in the Middle East 5 years ago, the top priority of the company was to establish credibility as well as all other aspects of being an industry leader. Today people are seeing the difference and are demanding what they deserve in terms of respect and professionalism.
The message is becoming clearer everyday for all the players in our region. Clean up your act, or risk being isolated and eventually disappear.
I am pleased that Nattiq's team is taking credit for creating the rules of the game of how to serve blind people. This has been one of our missions and we are seeing how it is making a difference in the lives of the people we serve.
I was very touched by the level the respect, appreciation and love we, at Nattiq, received with throughout our trips in the Middle East. This pushes us to continue to put the customer at the top of our priority list. After all, blind people deserve our service.
