يوفر برنامج إيزي كونفيرتر نظام التعرف الضوئي على الحروف العربية بحيث يتم مسح الوثيقة وتحويلها إلى معلومات رقمية مقروءة.
آلة نطق مدمجة
يعمل برنامج إيزي ريدر على إنتاج الملفات الصوتية وذلك بإدخال الوثائق المطبوعة أولا ثم مسحها التعرف عليها ضوئيا ثم يحولها إلى أحد صيغ الملفات الناطق مثل أم بي 3 أو ديزي وذلك بواسطة آلة نطق عربية من شركة أكابيلا.
البرنامج يفيد المؤسسات التعليمة والخدمية والتي تشرف على المكفوفين.
يتميز البرنامج بسهولة كبيرة وبداهة في الإستخدام. هكذا تستطيع أن تستخدمه:
إجلب ملف بأحدى الصيغ التالية: TXT, RTF, DAISY XML, unprotected EPUB وإفتحها مباشرة من برنامج إيزي كونفيرتير. أما إذا كان الملف صورة من نوع PDF, PNG, BMP فإنه يتوجب عليك ان ترسله إلى برنامج التعرف الضوئي على الحروف العربية OCR أولا وهو أمر يسير يوفره البرنامج.
طبق التعديلات المرغوبة على الملف قبل أن تحوله إلى صيغة بديلة ومتاحة
إجعله متاحا بإحدى الصيغ البديلة: برايل أو ديزي أو أم بي3 أو وثيقة مكبرة لضعاف البصر
