Nattiq's and Dolphin's technical support team reported additional enhancements to existing Word XP and Word 2003 map file. Selecting and cutting a piece of text will be spoken. Nattiq Technologies released today a 10 digit talking desktop calculator with alarm clock and music box. Entries and results are echoed in a natural human voice. Results may be spoken in digits and units. The displayed numbers can be repeated by pressing the REPT button. Separate keys are available to set up the Clock and Alarm. The big 10-digit LCD feature numbers that are 15mm or .6" high.
History was made last week in Amman, Jordan when a group of 16 Jordanian blind girls passed the ICDL exam with two girls achieving higher scores. What made such an event unique is the fact that the blind girls took the Arabic ICDL exam without any sighted help. The girls obtained training in the Saudi Jordanian Institute for the Blind in Amman which qualified them to take the exam.

A focus group met online yesterday, Saturday June 2nd, through Skype and discussed adaptive technology companies in the Middle East. Representatives from all competing companies were invited to interact with the group.
