Hal Enables Blind Employees Access Cisco CTIOS 5.1

Nattiq's technical support team once again demonstrated that Hal is the screen reader with which blind users in the Middle East may rely on in maintaining competitive jobs. A map file was developed by Nattiq to access on of the most popular telecommunication software found in the corporate world. Cisco CTIOS Agent Software 5.1 is now accessed by Hal blind users. This means that blind employees are able to log into the Sisco  IP phone system which runs on a computer network and access it transparently with Hal and Supernova. The map file is available for other possible users of Hal who may want to utilize it in their work environment. The project was implemented with one of Omans Telecom companies. The process helped create 5 competitive jobs for blind graduates.
