يسُّر شركة الناطق أن تعلن لأصدقائها أنها إنتهت من وضع اللمسات الأخيرة على برنامج هال الإصدار الثامن والداعم لنظامي ويندوز Vista وكذلك نظام XP بحيث يختار الكفيف النظام المناسب له دون الحاجة للرجوع إلى إصدار سابق للهال. ونقف هنا عند منعطف طرق أردنا أن نعرضه عليكم حتى يتسنى لنا الحصول على آرائكم والوصول إلى أفضل السبل التي تهيئ لنا خدمتكم بالطريقة التي تليق بكم.
هل نشرع في إطلاق الإصدار الثامن الآن؟ سبب سؤلنا هو أننا أيضا على وشك إصدار قلم الهال ولا نود أن نُثقِل عليكم بالترقيات. فلو أننا ننتظر إلى أن يصدر القلم فتكلفة الترقية سوف تكون أيسر على الأصدقاء. أما إذا شرعنا في استقبال طلبات الترقية الآن وقبل صدور قلم الهال فإن التكلفة سوف تكون أعلى.
التكلفة:
الترقية من سائر الإصدارات السابقة إلى الإصدار السابع تكلفتها 1000 درهم علما بأننا وعدنا بعض الذين إقتنوا الإصدار السابع بعد شهر يناير 2007 بتقديم تحديث للإصدار الثامن لهم مجانا.
الترقية من أي إصدار إلى القلم تكلفتها هي 2500 درهم. أما الذين وعدناهم بترقية من السابع إلى الثامن فسوف يحصلون على الترقية إلى القلم بملغ قدره 2000 درهم.
أما إذا تمت الترقية الآن إلى الإصدار الثامن ومن ثم إلى القلم فسوف تبلغ تلك التكلفة لبعضكم حوالي 3500 درهم.
