من الملاحظ إهتمام المستخدمين باستخدام برنامج واتساب وغيره من التطبيقات التي تساعد في التواصل، والتي يحتاج فيها المستخدم لاستخدام الضغط المطول بأنواعه المختلفة، مثل إرسال الرسائل الصوتية وغيرها. وعليه نذكر المستخدمين بإمكان إستخدام مثل هذه الإختصارات عند التعامل مع برامج الطرف الثالث. وهذه الإختصارات هي:
1- إدراج إختصار لمحاكات الضغطة والإستمرار (كما هو في تطبيق واتس أب لإرسال رسالة صوتية). يعمل الإختصار لتفعيل الأمر وعند الضغط عليه مرة أخرى يلغي الأمر. الإختصار: مفتاح حذف خلفي + مفتاح المسافة + النقطة 2
2- إدراج إختصار لمحاكات الضغط مرتين. الإختصار: مفتاح الدخول + مفتاح المسافة
