95 Blind Students at King Saud University Receive Advanced Equipment

Nattiq Technologies announced the completion of a project to deliver the latest technology for blind students at King Saud University in Riyadh, KSA. 95 Male and female students received the Braille Sense Plus, an all-in-one solution, with Braille and speech application capabilities which enable students to stay up with their studies in the university.

Outlook - A Newsletter by Foresight

Our friends at Foresight, a branch of Tamkeen, in Dubai recently launched their first edition of the newsletter Outlook. The newsletter is available in both Arabic and English in print and audio format. Nattiq will include an audio CD of the newsletter in all mail correspondence as well as shipments of products to our customers and friends.

Prince Mishaal and Minister of Social Affairs of Saudi Arabia Attend Event

Aowk Albasari Association of Buraidah, Saudi Arabia will host an event of distributing 74 Hal screen readers with lap tops to blind Saudi youths. The equipment and software is donated by Aljazeera Bank. The event will be held at the King Abdulla's Sports City in Buraidah on Tuesday December 23rd at 8:00 P.M.

Nattiq Presents at ictQatar

Nattiq Technologies participated in a forum hosted by ictQatar on December 3rd which coincided with the UN International Day of Persons with Disability. Dr. Hessa Al-Jaber Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR) opened the forum stating that the “miracle of technology” was available to all.

Hal is Better

Some of our friends and champions make an argument that Hal is the best localized screen reader in an effort to convince other interested individuals and organizations who are evaluating screen readers. I thought I do this podcast to help them explain why Hal is the best.
